Bank of Khartoum- Algolid Branch
Bank of Khartoum (BOK), Sudan’s oldest and largest Islamic bank, expanded its network with a new multi-story branch in Algolid. The branch features bank offices, a teller hall, a reception area, and residential units for the bank manager and staff. Designed to reflect BOK’s commitment to innovation and tradition, it combines modern architecture with the bank’s signature limestone cladding.
Key features :
- A contemporary architectural form with BOK’s distinctive limestone cladding.
- Ground and mezzanine floors are dedicated to banking operations, including a teller hall and reception.
- Integrated housing as the upper floors designed as residential units for staff, with a separate entrance for privacy.
- A design that reflects BOK’s legacy and brand identity while embracing modern aesthetics.
Indigo’s Role:
Indigo developed a design proposal for the BOK Algolid branch, blending modern architecture with the bank’s iconic limestone cladding. Our design included functional banking spaces on the ground and mezzanine floors, as well as residential units on the upper floors for staff convenience. The client responded positively to the proposal, which successfully balanced innovation with BOK’s established brand identity.
